The Stadtgarten in Cologne, Germany, is Cologne’s biggest
jazz-club. It is know throughout the city of Cologne for the
recordings made in the Club. Charlie Mariano, Peter Weniger, Oscar
Brown Jr. and other well-known musicians performed at this club. The
club is like a little concert-hall, the scene is higher and the
audience is standing (in some concerts sitting) in front of the
scene. The Club does not only present jazz, regularly there are
hiphop- and mojo-parties, so check out the program before visiting.
One of the most interesting events are when the WDR Bigband performs
at The Stadtgarten. Before listening to the music you can have a
drink at the bar or eat something at the restaurant.
